Cairo/ Dahab 8 days 7 nights
Cairo is the city of dreams. It is everything that one would want and expect of such an ancient city. It has one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world as well as vibrancy, color, stunning architecture, labyrinths of narrow, bustling streets, quiet corners where people drink tea and smoke the water pipes watching the world go by and the ever-buzzing bazaars where you will be swept up in the moment.
Dahab is one of the most attractive beach resorts in South Sinai, located half way between Sharm el Sheikh in the south and Nuweiba in the north. Characteristic for Dahab is a shore covered with fine golden sand that might have given Dahab its Arabic name: “Gold”.
Dahab consists of two bays. El Qura Bay and Ghazala Bay. In the latter one the Bedouin village El Assalah is located. Within the years the area has developed into a tourist center with camps, motels, restaurants, and bazaars. The newly constructed beach promenade is the core of Dahab’s activities, where globetrotters from all over the world meet in a lively atmosphere. A large variety of restaurants offer international and local cuisine at reasonable prices. Prices for accommodation are still very competitive.
The spirit in Assalah and Masbad reminds of the late 60s. In the southern bay of El Qura is the town center, below on the golden beaches of the bay, the hotels are situated. Further south near the entrance to the Nature Protectorate of Nabq new hotels are built offering luxury in most stunning location. A new asphalt road connects Assaleh to the Blue Hole. Along the road more hotels are being established – the most spectacular coral reefs just in front.
Due to the strong wind, Dahab is an excellent place for water sports and a perfect location for windsurfing. Dahab is famous for its deceptive deep dive sites such as the Blue Hole, the Canyon and the Lighthouse.
Day 1 (Monday): Cairo (D)
- Arrive at Cairo Airport where our representative will meet and assist you through customs and then you claim your baggage. You will be transferred to your selected Hotel for a free evening.
- Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 2 (Tuesday): Cairo (B.D)
- After breakfast our friendly guide will accompany you to the awe-inspiring Pyramids and Sphinx at Giza to be transported back to the time of the ancient Egyptians.
- Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 3 (Wednesday): Cairo/Dahab (B.D)
- After breakfast will be checked out from Hotel and transferred to Dahab. Overnight at your Hotel.
Day 4 (Thursday) till Day 7 (Sunday): Dahab (B.D)
- Enjoy your stay in Dahab at leisure, dive, snorkeling and Water activities.
Day 8 (Monday): Dahab/Cairo (B)
- Free morning, later on will be transferred to Cairo to for your departure flight.
